Nymphing: Drop, Then Drift
Dom Swentosky put together this great story over at Troutbitten. It goes into detail on how, as anglers, our job isn’t just to drop nymphs below the river’s surface. It’s to drop those flies, then help them drift naturally in the current. The story is a good example of how we need to work to get the most out of our drifts. You can read it here.
