It is very tough stuff , the same product used in the boating industry for below waterline through-hull fittings. *The elastic cord is fabricated to our specifications for diameter, durability and UV resistance. They are six feet long and 9/32" in diameter. It is designed to be stiff enough to stay out of the way while actively fishing. It will not tangle with the fly lines. *There is an aluminum slide on the cord which allows length adjustment to most Applications. *The six inch long Velcro strap connection to the fishing rod is a fully adjustable for any type rod.
