Small LineDancer will fit on your rod: Use a measuring device and hold it against the rod about 3 to 4 inches up from the handle and estimate the thickness of your rod's shaft; see additional photos. If the diameter of the rod shaft measure is about 3/8 inches or 9.5 mm, then select the Small size will fit your rod. Medium LineDancer will fit on your rod: Use a measuring device and hold it against the rod about 3 to 4 inch up from the handle and estimate the thickness of your rod's shaft; see additional photos. If the diameter of the rod shaft measure is about 1/2 inch or 12.7 mm, then select the Medium size will fit your rod. Large LineDancer will fit on your rod: Use a measuring device and hold it against the rod about 3 to 4 inches up from the handle and estimate the thickness of your rod's shaft; see additional photos. If the diameter of the rod shaft measure is about 5/8 inch or 15.9 mm, then select the Large size will fit your rod. Even though the LineDancer is made of stainless steel, its design allows for some flexibility; just utilize some pliers to adjust to a tight fit. Instructions: 1. Place the LineDancer on the spinning rod and slide it towards the reel until it fits tightly. 2. Cast lure or bait into the water. 3.
