HalbeyGaffs are milled from premium grade solid ash. Ash is well known for maintaining its strength and superior rot resistance in wet environments. Naturally dense, the additional weight is the key element in making the HalbeyGaff a superior choice for charter, commercial, and serious recreational fishermen in any fishery encountering large and powerful fish.
HalbeyGaffs are precision milled to provide a perfect combination of weight and balance coupled with a positive no-slip grip. The HalbeyGaff is finished with wood sealer and spar varnish for a beautiful and reliable fishing tool that will withstand years of abuse.
The gaff hooks are built from 304 grade stainless steel with a custom ground taper that resists bending and warping while remaining sharp and easy to maintain. HalbeyGaffHooks are secured to the gaff with a stainless locking nut and washer.
HalbeyGaffs and HalbeyGaffHooks are manufactured and assembled in the USA. HalbeyGaff AGC26 measures 24 inches in length with a two inch diameter at the gaff head.
